These Terms and conditions apply to this website and to the transactions related to our products and services. You may be bound by additional contracts related to your relationship with us or any products or services that you receive from us. If any provisions of the additional contracts conflict with any provisions of these Terms, the provisions of these additional contracts will control and prevail.

Shipping & Delivery

Many of the items we carry are shipped directly from the designer and many are made to order.

USA Shipments – Please notice the approximate delivery time on each item detail page. We make every effort to ship items within 5-7 business days AFTER your order is placed. Normally items ship within 5-15 business days due to stock status and as some items are custom made to order and require additional time. If we discover that an item is not available, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please be sure your contact information is correct. You may receive your order in multiple shipments from multiple warehouses. During the holiday season, processing time can take up to 10 days.

We try to ship orders in full, in one shipment for your convenience. However, depending on the items ordered, multiple shipments may be required to fulfill your order. Sometimes orders can be delayed waiting for the full order to be filled and therefore shipped.

If you are needing an expedited shipment, it’s best to place your order and call us to inform us of your needs.

Preppy Princess typically uses USPS, but not limited to FedEx, UPS and other shipping methods. When your order is shipped partially or in full you will receive an email indicating it has shipped. We do not email out tracking numbers for security reasons, but you can log into your account, view all tracking, and track your package thru our website if tracking is indicated. Some packages tracking is not available until after the package has been delivered.

Preppy Princess is not responsible for incorrect addresses given, refused shipments or unclaimed shipments. We have NO control over mail delivery once it leaves our boutique so, please check with the carrier if we show it shipped and you have not received it.

With the rise of package theft, we strongly advise you choose your shipping address carefully. If you are concerned about package theft, please consider all of your shipping options to help minimize theft. Here are some tips we have found to be helpful:

1. Ship to your work address

2. Ship to a neighbor’s address that you trust and will be home at the time of delivery.

3. Ask us to request your shipment be signed for someone at your address.

In order to simplify our shipping costs, we have implemented a flat rate shipping cost of $9.95* for most orders. Please refer to the following shipping table to determine the cost to ship your item. Please note that heavier items (ie: carriers, blankets, beds, furniture, bowls/feeders, etc.) may incur an additional cost and are not included in the free shipping rate. The rate will be shown at check out or on the item detail page. *Shipping costs are calculated AFTER all discounts have been applied to your cart at check out.


International Shipments:

Preppy Princess will only ship internationally to Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Items Shipped Internationally are NOT Returnable. The USDA, (United States Department of Agriculture), prohibits returns of any pet products sold to individuals due to the possibility of animal fur or dander residue that may carry contaminates of pet diseases like Mange.


Please be aware that additional shipping costs will apply. Shipping cost will be shown at check out BEFORE you pay so you will know exactly what they are. If the item is large or oversized, we will notify you if additional shipping costs will be incurred in some cases. You can also email us for a shipping quote. All international orders are shipped with tracking. Customer is responsible for any taxes or duty charges. International orders may require additional processing time because of shipping all in one package verses from multiple warehouses.

*Free shipping is not available to international customers. If you have any questions regarding shipping costs please email us.

Internationally customers are solely responsible to review your Country’s import policies prior to ordering any products from Preppy Princess.

If an internationally customer is compelled to return any Item(s) to Preppy Princess, they do so at your own risk!

Internationally customers are responsible for any cost of return postage or shipping charges. There is no guarantee of credit issue for returned items.

*Larger items, such as carriers, beds, blankets, cuddle cups, etc. do not qualify.

Items Delayed, Lost,

or Damaged in Transit is not responsible for items delayed, lost, or damaged in transit.

Cancellation Policy

Preppy Princess offers a 24-hour grace period (from the time the order is placed) in which to cancel an order. If you need to cancel an order within the 24-hour grace period please Contact Us with your name, email, and order number and we will issue a refund to your credit card or PayPal.

After 24 hours, orders are in process and cannot be cancelled. Instead, when you receive the item, you may follow the directions above for returns

Returns & Exchanges

Please be sure to use the sizing chart on the product’s page or call us directly before placing an order for questions regarding sizing.

Returns can be easily alleviated this way.

Please check the sizing charts accordingly.

All designers and brands vary in sizing

Please note: we cannot cancel a custom order once it has been placed.

Return Policy


If you received an item that you do not want – regardless of the reason and it is undamaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery date. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of you receiving the item. If we are notified after this time frame, we will be unable to process your request.

Please use our return portal here to submit your return request CLICK HERE Upon receiving your request we will email you all the information, including a form with your RMA (Return Authorization Number) to return your item(s) to us. This form must be included in the return.

You MAY NOT return something that is unapproved regardless of the reason. We need to hear from you first. Non approved returns will be refused. You must put the authorization # on the outside of the box when you return the item(s). The completed RMA form that we email you must also be inside the box.

You are responsible for return shipping charges and we are not responsible for any packages received by us that are damaged in transit, or simply do not make it to our facility. We leave it up to you on which courier to use but do recommend something that has tracking. We must receive your return within 15 days of issuing your authorization.

Once we receive your return, give us a 3-7 business days (not including holidays or weekends) to process it and we will email you to let you know it’s been processed and how much store credit has been placed on your account.

Original shipping charges are not refundable. All returns are for STORE CREDIT ONLY. Your return credit will be less any shipping, coupon, or discount received. We will notify you by email when it’s complete.

We do not process exchanges due to the ever-changing inventory and pricing differences of sizes. You will need to place the order yourself through your account online. If you need help placing the order, we can help you with the new order. You may not use an expired coupon on your new order, regardless of discount or coupon you received on your original order. You MAY use any NON-expired coupon on your new order.

Will I get charged a restock fee?

Sometimes we will need to implement a restocking fee depending on the item and we will let you know if the item(s) you’re returning will incur a restocking fee of 20%. We will let you know this prior to returning an order.

Items that are non-returnable:

Anything that is non-sellable, has ANY AMOUNT of dog hair on it, has been worn, has been altered, tags removed, original packaging either torn or missing, damaged by you or your dog, any sort of smell, or stain.

Special/Custom order items

Anything that specifically says on the item that it is non-returnable.

For hygienic reasons, we cannot return the following:

Bedding – Any Sort

Treats – Any Sort, including cakes, treats, supplements etc.


Stairs or Steps

Feeders, Bowls, Treats Jars etc.

Toys- Preppy Princess Puppy Boutique cannot guarantee the longevity of any toy.

Potty Training Products- this includes Panties, diapers, belly bands, Potty Pads, or Fake Grass


All returns are for store credit only.

Gift Cards and Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit, or check. Gift Cards and Gift Certificates for Preppy Princess Puppy Boutique are only valid on or in our local boutique.

Store Credit and Gift Certificates expire after 5 year of issue date per the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (Credit CARD Act).

Orders can be placed online only.  Not withstanding what is stated in the “Returns & Exchanges” section, orders generally begin processing immediately and once an order has been placed it cannot be canceled. We do however accept returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. Please review our return/exchange policy to see if your order is eligible for return or exchange.

Damaged, Undeliverable & Refused Shipments

Damaged ShipmentsContact us immediately if any part of your order is damaged upon arrival. For damaged items, we will need the following from you: Pictures of all damaged areas of the item(s) and ALL packaging materials. If you fail to produce pictures and /or save all packaging materials we WILL NOT be responsible for ANY damaged items. If possible, please notate any damage on freight bill receipt. refused shipments – There will be a 50% restock fee and you will be responsible for all shipping charges on any refused shipments. Please note we are not responsible or liable for the return, tracking, receipt or condition of refused shipments. undeliverable shipments – There will be a 50% restocking fee and you will be responsible for all shipping charges on any refused and/or undeliverable shipments. Please note we are not responsible or liable for the return, tracking, receipt or condition of refused shipments. To avoid this kind of hassle, be sure you enter your correct shipping address. *Shipping times are estimated, we have no control over the carrier and cannot guarantee that your package will arrive within the estimated time frame.If you would like to return or exchange an item, please refer to the instructions on the Returns/Exchanges page under the Customer Service Tab.
